Here are three solid reads I found this week.
- Abigail Dodds, Submission Is a Wonderful Weapon. “I was a submissive person before I got married…I assumed submission in marriage would come fairly easily to me. I was so agreeable! True, I did have strong convictions around God’s word, but as long as I married someone who shared those commitments and convictions, submission would be breezy. Or so I thought.”
- “Statement from Pro-Life Catholic Scholars on the Moral Acceptability of Receiving COVID-19 Vaccines.” I’m a Protestant, but the people behind this statement are all people whose writing and pro-life credentials I respect. If you’re open to vaccination in principle but are concerned with the moral issues surrounding the use of fetal tissue, this may be helpful to you.
- Kevin DeYoung, “Why Reformed Evangelicalism Has Splintered: Four Approaches to Race, Politics, and Gender.” Kevin DeYoung is one of the most careful writers out there when it comes to race and gender. A must read.
